The Deluxe Motel units, are located on ground level, behind the Lodge & adjacent the off street car park.  These units offer a higher level of accommodation and open onto the courtyard garden. Extra inclusions are a microwave & toaster, LCD TV & sofa and a larger bathroom, ( 4 with kitchenette facilities). All have split rev.cycle air conditioning and outdoor sitting area.

“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. Sonbern Lodge was originally built as a Guesthouse and has under gone a number of upgrades over the years. This Grand historic building still retains many of the original features, such as its magnificent blackwood stair case and ornate ceiling roses and beautiful fireplace and mantel, in the period Dining room. A cooked or continental breakfast is still available in the original Dining Room, 7 days a week or a breakfast tray can be delivered  to your room. Their is “NO BAR or POKIES” at Sonbern Lodge Motel, we offer quiet night right in the heart of the town at a realistic price. Many Dining options are available for evening meals, just a very short walk away. Our Motel is privately owned and operated, so we maintain a high standard of cleanliness and pride in the product that we offer.

The courtyard garden and barbeque area is available for all guest’s use, as is the large upstairs balcony, where you can relax and enjoy the view and  the crisp clean country air. (100% no smoking indoors)

The township is situated on the edge of the beautiful Wallaroo Bay. The well protected bay boasts sandy beaches and calm clear waters providing the ideal location for safe swimming, for children and adults. It is also the perfect bay for sailing, windsurfing and fishing. Local day trip fishing charters are available, or try your luck on the Wallaroo jetty. Crabbing is very popular.
